How do I use or want to use technology in my classroom?

Currently, I use technology  to deliver information-video, presentations, assignments, etc.  My goal is to become familiar enough with technology to have my students use technology to show me what they know!  I want to make sure that use of technology within my classroom has meaning--I don't want to use technology just because...

So, I'm taking this class to become a "tech jedi" so that I can use technology with my students in an organized, meaningful, productive and fun manner.  Wish me luck.

  1. I agree that using tech in a meaningful way is key, rather than using tech for tech sake. I also want to learn the best way to incorporate tech so that lessons are stronger, rather than in a peripheral way.

  2. Hi Andrea,

I agree with your goal of using technology in a meaningful way. How many computers do you have in your class? Do you use a lab? I am wondering how I could integrate technology into the class with the limited amount we have available to us.

  3. I guess we are all trying to do the same. I feel rather stupid when I try to do something and I get stuck in front of the students. The good thing is they are always great about helping me. :) I think they sure look more interested when technology is included.
