Whoa. There are a lot of people who have a lot to say out there in "internet land." I tried numerous search ideas-historians, librarians, IB blogs, etc. Dilemma time-what to add to my subscription list. Who are these people? My fear is adding some hate blogger, and then somehow I am connected to person a FBI watch list! Kidding.
It's Wednesday 1/26, so I have four days (before the HW assignment is due) to find sources that I a) feel comfortable with and b) want to spend my time reading.
So, if you are reading this before Monday evening (2/1) and have a feed that you enjoy-send them my way!

Hi Andrea,
ReplyDeleteHave you joined our SMUHSD Colleague Jim Burke's English Companion Ning website? I know you're not specifically an English teacher, but it is a nice place to initiate discussions on reading and writing and get great feedback, discussion, ideas, etc.
You're certainly right that there is a lot of creepiness out there in "Internet Land" I do a lot of international folk dance, and I'm always amazed at how many You Tube videos I wind up as part of (where no one ever asked my permission to be filmed!)
Take care and have a lovely week,
Barbara
I like your pictures. Isn't it amazing that we can do things on the computer? It's a big stretch for me at least.
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea,
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to you? Do you still read your blog? I learned a lot in the class, but still feel kind of overwhelmed.
Oh well, have a great summer.
Anne
